Story 1: Business Savvy (Sharing New Products, Sales, and Challenges)
They say in proverbs (business is cleverness) and our story revolves around a clever merchant who tried to expand his business from reality to websites, but he stopped in front of the obstacle of technology. Naturally, he searches the net to find what he is looking for, and the first to welcome him with open arms is Shopify. As usual, we Arabs are nostalgic for any Arab platform that provides us with even a little of the needs that we find on foreign platforms. After a long wait, a new hero named ZD appeared on the horizon with new features in new products, sales, and challenges with projects.
From Shopify to Zed my heart don’t be sad, as our merchant friend’s adventures began to search for features to add to the store. Of course, these platforms are governed by specific templates that allow you certain options, and you cannot add more customization or options unless these platforms provide you with tools or add-ons that you can link to your store to obtain these features.
Because our friend is searching and never gets tired of finding a solution, he reached us through a collaborator in our footsteps and started communicating with us, and the journey to achieve all his ambitions began, as we transferred the remains of his store from Shopify and Zed to WooCommerce, which is characterized by ease and simplicity, and at the same time you can customize it unlimitedly and add any feature you need because it is a platform built on WordPress, and WordPress is open source and hundreds of thousands, even millions, are developing it daily, and thus the problem of lack of customization and limited features found in most e-store platforms was solved by providing an open source platform that allows companies to share new products.
We also took the burden of time, effort and money from him in providing and following up with programmers, as he can request any development he needs from one person, who is his project manager in Khatana, and the project manager follows up on all the details on his behalf until the development comes to light and takes any modifications he needs in Khatana’s testing platforms before transferring them live to his online store, which encouraged him to cooperate with us on several other projects. We are happy that he has become a dear friend and a generous brother to the point that we wanted him to be the first hero of our first story, and we are always keen on our ongoing relationship.
